Dallas World Aquarium

Our day trip to the Dallas World Aquarium!

Family Traveling USA kids looking at a Manatee at the Dallas World Aquarium in Dallas, Texas.

This was our first time visiting the Dallas World Aquarium in Dallas, Texas! We traveled from Houston to Dallas for the weekend to celebrate Westin's 8th birthday! While in Dallas, we also visited Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament (see the blog post here).

We didn't research much into the aquarium, so we were unsure what to expect! We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful rainforest vegetation and the layout of the building. We loved how the exhibits related to each other and had a clear walking direction. There were many more birds than we expected at an aquarium!

Overall, we spent about 3 hours here. We enjoyed exploring the aquarium and viewing all the exhibits. A few of our favorites to see were the Axolotls, the Shark Tunnel, and the Manatee! Be sure to check out our YouTube video of our trip!

Have you made a trip to the Dallas World Aquarium?

If so, what are some of your favorite things to see?! We would love to hear in the comments!

Thanks for visiting our blog; see you next time!
